LIGHT, where are you?
are you still shining somewhere?
if so, then why can't i feel your warmth anymore?
why is DARKNESS wrapped around me like a suffocating blanket?

LIGHT, where are you?
i can barely see you in the dim folds of my sheets...
...or in the flashes of headlights shining through the window
and darting across the ceiling!
you've left me all alone,
making my thoughts so gloomy
that i can barely tell them from the DARKNESS!

i've made up my mind.
i'm going to shut my eyes
and let the DARKNESS take over!
maybe then i can start to dream.

YES, i'll dream about him and i'll tell him everything!
even what i can't tell him,
because the whole truth can hurt so much!

i'll dream about my friends
and they'll understand me without even judging me,
just this once!

and then i'll dream about my PAST!
i'll talk to it..
and i'll entrust it to the DARKNESS,
